More than 500 enterprise and industry leaders gathered in Shanghai. On March 19, 2024, the 3rd China Laser Leadership Summit & Listed Companies Forum was held at the Sheraton Shanghai Pudong Binjiang Hotel. Over 500 representatives from laser companies, research institutes and industry associations discussed innovative development of the laser industry chain—aiming for more innovation, greater practicality and better service to manufacturing.

Xinghan Laser — light of innovation. Invited as a Laser Home expert advisory unit, Xinghan Laser’s Chief Scientist Dr. Ding Liang delivered a keynote titled “Xinghan Laser, Light of Innovation.” Twenty outstanding company and industry leaders—including representatives from JPT, Han’s Vision, Mulai Laser and Reci Laser—also shared latest results and insights in laser R&D, products and applications, advancing the shared vision of a more innovative and manufacturing-ready laser industry chain.

High-power semiconductor laser technology is a key driver of modern manufacturing and advanced industry. Dr. Ding elaborated on Xinghan’s latest achievements in high-power semiconductor lasers and high-power optical-field control.

Dr. Ding also noted that with iterations in laser chips and beam-shaping optics, semiconductor lasers are entering a new growth phase. Xinghan will continue deep work on high-power chips, high-thermal-conductivity ceramic heatsinks, high-brightness pumps and precision complex beam control—broadening application boundaries and driving industry progress. He further shared a major upcoming breakthrough in laser equipment: the air-cooled handheld laser cutting & welding X Series, aimed at changing conventional welding, enabling new materials and processes, offering a better choice for welders and enterprises, and helping accelerate new quality productive forces.
